When his violent, alcoholic best friend Alex goes missing, Christian (Sverrir Gudnason in his 2015 best actor award-winning role), an introverted former ice-hockey player, starts to unravel. Lying about events surrounding the disappearance and acting increasingly irrational, Christian seems more interested in staying close to Alex’s girlfriend Diana (Malin Buska, Easy Money III, Scandi FF 2014), and her young son Elias, than finding Alex. After the dead body of Alex is discovered, Christian gradually attempts to inhabit his friend’s life in all possible ways. But the police are watching him, as is Alex’s father, and both move closer to the truth while Christian edges towards breakdown in this stylish and tense character study.
